In 1985, Steve Prescott opened The Davis Street Fishmarket at the corner of Hinman and Davis with a simple vision: serve top quality, fresh seafood, properly prepared, and fairly priced. Steve believes that if he does the best job he can, and has fun doing it, then the rest will follow. He also believes that above all else, who you are and what you strive for should be real. This philosophy has had lasting success. Everything you’ll see around you has a story behind it. From the beloved Harold (the original "Old Barnacle" on your Chardonnay) to Charlie (their long-time chef and fishmonger), Davis Street Fishmarket has become a thriving aggregate of many personalities.
