Join Owner Ben Barber and Chef Mehmet Ak for a Turkish Feast with all the flavors, spices and scents of a Turkish marketplace. At this charming storefront on Irving Park Road, Chef Mahmet will create a delicious meal from appetizers through dessert that will truly delight your senses! Come enjoy this great ethnic meal before the Thanksgiving splurge.



Price is $44.00 per person for ChicaGourmets! members, or $50.00 for non-members, inclusive of tax and gratuity.

Chef Mehmet's Menu

MEZE PLATE
Humus — blended chick peas and tahini with lemon and garlic
Harem's Secret — smoked eggplant pureéd with fresh herbs
Ezme — Fine-chopped, delicately seasoned tomatoes, onions and smoked red bell pepper and walnuts

RED LENTIL SOUP

SALAD
Sogus — sliced tomatoes, cucumber, feta cheese and black olives drizzled with olive oil

ENTRÉES
Portabella Mediterranean — portabella mushrooms, hot banana peppers, potatoes, sun-dried tomatoes and onions sautéed in basil-tomato sauce with a touch of red wine, served with Moroccan couscous
and
Tavuk Shish — juicy cubes of rosemary, lemon and garlic marinated chicken breast skewered and char-grilled. Garnished with grilled vegetables over rice

DESSERT
Chocolate Baklava — semi-sweet chocolate baked between layers of buttery filo dough
